Bring the enchanting elegance of Paris in Fall to your home with this curated autumnal gift guide
As the leaves start to fall and the weather turns cooler, there's something truly enchanting about the autumn season in Paris. The city comes alive with rich colors, cozy cafes, and the unmistakable feeling of joie de vivre. Here is a curated collection of pieces to capture the spirit of this magical time of year:
- Gold Earring Bow Earrings with Pearl Drops: I don't know about you, but for me, there's something synonymous with bows and Paris. These Pretty Collection Freshwater Pearl Bow Earrings from Tory & Ko capture the essence of Parisian charm with their delicate pearl and dainty bow design. Perfect for adding a touch of feminine elegance to any fall outfit, these earrings are a must-have for any lover of Parisian style.
- Angelina Paris Hot Chocolate Mix: Fans of hot chocolate have likely heard of the Angelina Cafe in Paris, known for its famously rich and decadent hot chocolate. While we may not be able to visit the iconic cafe in person, the Angelina Paris Hot Chocolate Mix is a close second (or third once you've tried my Chocolate Caulda recipe... coming soon)
- Origin Mugs: There's nothing like starting a crisp autumn morning with a freshly brewed mug of coffee. These Origin mugs by nesprsso are an elegant and practical way to elevate your coffee experience, and make it feel just a bit more special. I love my Origin mugs. The are incredibly tactile and are my most used mugs in my collection.
- Chilli and Orange Chocolate: One of my favourite movies is Chocolat, and thanks to this movie I was introduced to the joys of Chill and Chocolate. Now it's one of my go to treats, and I highly recommend trying it. This chocolate bar by NZ chocolatiers Bennettos has a hint of orange to balance the chilli and richness of the chocolate. For an extra touch of indulgence, add a square or two to your morning Nespresso coffee. It's the perfect way to warm up on a crisp Fall morning.
- The Trench Coat: No Parisian-inspired wardrobe is complete without a classic trench coat, and the Marlborough Trench Coat in Camel from Holland Cooper is the perfect addition. Crafted from high-quality materials, this timeless piece is designed to last you season after season. For my fellow antipodeans, this piece is available at Angel Divine.
- Hermes Throw: A favourite of home decor darlings, the luxurious Avalon Throw Blanket from Hermes is perfect for snuggling up with a good book or enjoying a cup of tea on a cozy night in. I love the orange shade, and personally can't wait till mine arrives.
- Multi Correcting Cream: This serum-cream is one of my autumn skin care must haves. Autumn can wreak havoc on my skin with the constant use of heaters, exposure to harsh NZ winds, and seasonal allergies, letting my complexion quickly become dry, flaky, and dull. The Multi Correcting Cream works miracles with 10% Azelaic acid for and nourishing ingredients like Bisabolol, Niacinamide, Zinc, Magnesium, Pomegranate, Shea butter, Jojoba oil, and Squalene.
- Fall in Paris Print: I cannot make an Autumn in Paris gift guide without including my own art work! This is one of my favourite pieces I've painted to date, and is set in the famous Avenue de Camoëns in Paris.
- Cashmere & Leather Gloves: Beat the Autumn chill and add a touch of luxury to your wardrobe with these Nordstrom cashmere-lined leather touchscreen gloves, perfect for staying warm, stylish, and connected
- Autumn Vibes EDT: This magical perfume by Maison Margiela always transports me to drizzley romantic Parisians days with it's fragrance that captures falling leaves and crisp Autumn air. Truly a must have for any perfume collector.
- Fall in Love Serum by Codage Paris: I was introduced to this serum by the wonderful ladies at the East Day Spa in Auckland and I love it. I use this serum all most all year round. It rebuilds the skins matrix and equips it with essential resources before the winter, helping your skin face the harsh seasonal changes.
- YSL LouLou bag: I always associate YSL with Paris and autumn (it even featured on my brand mood board), so what better way to stylishly pay tribute to the season than with the LouLou medium chain bag.
- Blunt Umbrella: Chicago might be known as the Windy City, but Auckland is windier than chicago, often riveling our capital Wellington which is the windiest city in the world. Safe to say, NZ is a windy city. Throw in some rain and it's a recipe for disaster. The Blunt Umbrella's are chic and stylish, and have have been wind tunnel tested to a Category 1 Hurricane (115km/h). The Coupe size is great for inner city run around and school pickups.
- Pied-A-Terre Keychain: For the 1% of people in the world who own a pied-a-terre, and the 99% of us who wish we did! This keychain by Dear Keaton makes for a super cute addition to any gift bundle.
- Upcycled Champagne Vase: Just add flowers! The Champagne Collective upcycle french champagne bottles into candles and vases for gorgeous keepsakes.
- Paris Interiors: This stunning book has been on my wishlist for some time! It's a peek inside the homes of Paris's most discerning art and antiques enthusiasts, brimming with sophisticated charm and inspiration. Perfect for any lover of French culture, it would make a gorgeous addition to a coffee table or bookshelf.
- Dulce de Leche candle: Featuring my limited edition artwork, this candle by Miller Road Fragrances is hand poured in coastal NZ. It's decadent gourmand scent is created by Treena Nixon, Miller Road's owner and perfumier. The scent of Dulce d Leche always makes me think of a caramel latte on a crisp Parisian morning. Art edition available exclusively on ByStaceyRose.
- Kate heels: It doesn't get any more indulgent or French than a pair of Louboutins, though I recommend going for a slightly lower heel if you are planning on a day of roaming Parisian streets. In the perfect shade of nude of course.
Happy Gifting! and have a wonderful Mothers Day
